Sir Selwyn Selwyn-Clarke Market, Victoria. On this kind of holiday I was a little fearful that all we would do is lay on a beach and do nothing. So I took things into my own hands and research some things for our family to do outside of the hotel. We were staying at Constance Ephelia hotel – which was on Mahe island and a 40 minute drive from Victoria.

Vicky was rather excited to go to the market, as everything named Victoria. Vicky and I had downloaded Pokemon Go the day of so before going to the Market so we were looking out for Pokemon as we were driving through the bustling city.

They were selling everything at the market – local spices, sarongs, shark meat, fish, bags, shells, everything. We bought a magnet for the fridge as we tend to do.

Victoria is the capital of the Seychelles and the selling of produce (especially tuna fish) makes up a large proportion of business in the city.
