We hired a driver and went round the surrounding area. We stopped off at a view lookout points for some great views of the Seychelles and some beaches that weren’t attached to hotels so they were so quiet and peaceful.

Our hotel didn’t do much for serving local food and playing local music etc, so I am glad we got out and got a real feel for the Seychelles, asking the local driver as many questions as we could all morning.

We went to the Mission Lodge, which is the most famous lookout in the Seychelles. It is a historic viewpoint with some boards up offering some of the Seychelles history involving the British and French colonial powers.
